Dylan Hicks came out to do a routine inspection of my 2 year old waterproofing job, and discovered that the foundation had shifted. He walked me through his concerns in way that I could easily understand. The whole process from diagnosis to resolving issues was transparent. Joseph led the first team in installing a basement gutter and sump pump. There was some confusion with the arrival time, but his team got right to work, blocking off the area of the basement they were working in with plastic sheeting. They used a fan to conduct dust to the outside. It was incredibly clean job considering it involved a jackhammer. Joseph and I talked about what they were going to do and then we took a tour of the finished job. The second leg of the job was to insert two piers under the foundation. At this point Groundworks really showed their true colors in working tirelessly (thank you Heather!!) with me to reschedule so they would avoid ripping up my water logged front lawn after 10 days of rain. Travis led the pier crew including Brandon, Logan, JT, and Marques. I spent a lot of time talking to this team because they weren’t behind a plastic drape. Again, they were each naturally pleasant and patient and answered all of my questions. We walked through what they were going to do and then reviewed the job after it was finished. The first part of the job they hand dug holes for the piers. Soon it was obvious that they would need an excavator. Before they left, Travis and his men covered the existing very deep holes so no pets or people could fall in, and Groundworks went out of their way to fit me in within a few days for that last leg of the project. So I don’t know how they find such skilled, helpful employees who are naturals at great customer service, but they do.

We had our crawl space repaired and sealed by Groundwork's. From our inspection and estimate to the completion of the project was great. Keith Boyd and his crew did a fabulous job. They moved up my original install date because they acquired all the permits needed earlier than anticipated and were eager to get in here to provide me with an urgent solution for the flooding I was experiencing in my basement!
I did my due diligence and got 3 separate quotes. Christian Atkins, the Certified Field Inspector stood out the most with his knowledge, toolset and passion for helping people like me; a stressed out homeowner that had to shop vac over an inch of flooding in the basement!

November 11, 2025 Update - Today Groundworks completed the second part of our project - the caulking of several control joints along our sidewalk and driveway, along with lifting a portion of the sidewalk that had dropped a few inches. Damien A. and Laz C. did a great job! The quality of the work was excellent, and Damien and Laz were knowledgeable, professional, courteous and respectful. I am extremely pleased with the work product.

I needed my crawl space insulated, and got an appointment fast. Tim explained the process and options I had. I really had no questions going into the project. Robbie, Aiden and Xavier were very polite and professional. Explained the work they would be doing and got to work. We did a walk through and made sure I had no questions or concerns. We previously moved into our forever home not no knowing that our basement was retaining water. We then called Bill from Groundwork’s he came out and inspected our home and figured out the best solution for us. After approximately a month he sent out a 5 person crew who were very knowledgeable about what they were supposed to be doing. These guys started at 6 am and didn’t quit until 6 pm.
