This is an entire documentation of my interactions with this company, spoiler alert, it's not a positive one.
2021 - I called them up asking for assistant a few months after the purchase of our home, the gutterhelmet system is broken and causing damage to my house. Larry on the phone told me they can "fix and clean the gutters" after I transfer ownership of the warranty from the previous owners. This costed me $150 to "transfer warranty". I sent in the check and the forms to them.
2022 - I call them up again and ask about getting someone to fix and clean our gutterhelmet and gutters, the lady on the phone with me said they do not clean gutters. Which is the exact opposite of what I was told in the fall. I've tried calling back more than a few times to speak with Larry but he's never there and I'm always assured I'll get a call back from the person I am speaking on the phone with. The company reached out to me to try and make it right. They were able to fix the issues with my gutters and clean them. The two servicemen Phil and Cosmo did a excellent job.
2025 - After 3 years my gutters are clogged again and potentially doing damage to my house. It took me 5 phone calls and 2 months to get someone on the phone to have my gutters cleaned again. When I was on the phone they said my warranty still has not gone through. Now I need to wait 5 months to have them come out and inspect the gutters and clean them.
To the owner of this company, why is contacting your team nearly impossible and why am I out $150 after 4 YEARS completing and sending the warranty forms. This is ridiculous. I feel like I should cut my losses and remove the damn things myself and take them to small claims court to get my $150 back.

We had gutter helmet installed in June 2017 and 5 years later our roof significantly rotted in various areas. Their product failed to perform as it was intended because of negligent installation; they never lowered the gutters in the back of the house resulting in the water to pool and flow backwards under the shingles. We just had our whole roof replaced including the rotted plywood. I asked them to lower the gutters now to avoid this same scenario but they declined. I counted on them as professionals to do the job right and they didn’t. If you want to avoid your roof rotting avoid these guys.

We purchased Gutter Helmet for our roof. The team of 3 arrived on time and got right to work. Very professional installers. Worked with me to go over everything they were going to do and did do. If there were any questions they consulted me. Finished up on time and cleaned the site perfectly. Have not had a heavy rain yet so cannot assess how well the product is working. Would definitely use this company again.

Larry, our installer, was beyond excellent. If the product works as well as him I will be extremely happy. I am too old to do this kind of work anymore but, I know good QUALITY work when I see it. We had new gutters installed with the Gutter Helmet.
I would highly recommend..!!

What a sham! Had our windows done back in 2007 when they were Huff N Puff, the salesman talked us out of choosing Anderson windows, went with "triple pane" Corelle windows instead. Being a first time home buyer, of course we believe him ( my mistake!).. and $12,000 later, not even 10 years our windows films were peeling off.. called customer service because we have 50 years warranty on the windows, and was told that oh, nothing we can do.. company went out of business so you can go somewhere else to fix the glass..
Thanks a lot! You should be aware buying any "warranty" from this sham company.. no wonder you keep changing company name.. must be necessary to avoid any irate customers. If you click on the three photos I've posted you will see what I mean.

I am not happy with the installation of the Gutter Helmet we had done a few months back - and certainly not for the money I paid Huff n Puff for the installation. At NO time during the sales process or during the installation itself was it explained that the gutter shields could (or would) have to be installed ABOVE the shingles and screwed directly DIRECTLY into the roof shingles.
During the sales presentation, the gutter shields were shown as being screwed into the roof after being placed UNDER a row of shingles for protection.
Apparently, there was an 'alternate installation method' where the shields are just screwed directly INTO the shingles if the shingle distances are off from the edge. The salesperson never mentioned this possibility, and the installer never mentioned that they were using this alternate installation method.
The fact that the shields were screwed into the shingles rather under the shingles was not noticable from ground level. I discovered that I had sixty to seventy screws put into my roof AFTER I climbed up a few days later to see how it looked. I was shocked to see a row of screwed-in panels going down the full length of my house. The entire roof, front and back, was installed this way.
Upon inspection, I found a few faults with the installation. For example, the screw they used on one panel was close enough to the edge of the shingle above that it pushed that shingle up a bit. When I called to complain about the installation, I was informed of this 'alternate installation method'. No explanation why I was never informed of the possiblity that they would needo install with screws above the shingles. They did come back to correct a few issues I addressed - but I hadn't gone on the roof myself, they would have never been found. They were obvious problems that should never have been left from the initial installation.
Seeing the final result of a bunch of screw holes in my shingles, I would NOT have had the Helmet installed. I am very worried about future leaks with some sixty screws embedded in my roof shingles. A few weeks after the installation found one soft spot where a screw was not secure. This was a spot where the installer had come back to fix because that area appeared crooked (which was probably because of the spot.) I was actually able to remove the loose screw with my fingers. Didn't look like much sealant in place. I added my own sealant to the screw and replaced. I'm not having Huff n Puff back again.
I don't feel that I was provided the product that I was sold. I'm worried that I traded one problem (the gutters) for another (future roof problems). Time will tell, I guess.
This project was NOT worth the high price or headaches. I will not use Huff n Puff of Middletown again for any home project.
The reason I gave one star in this review is because I gave a two-star review when Huff n Puff sent a request for feedback - but then I never heard back from them on my comments.
Maybe this review will get someone's attention.
