Door to door salesmen came and spoke in depth about their product. We agreed to go ahead and set up service. Salesmen uses deceitful sales tactics to secure sales most notably in regard to warranty. Their "apples to apples" guarantee is total hogwash do not fall for this BS!!! Post this last major hurricane i have had broken panels on my roof and not a single time have they came out to perform any type of Preventative maintenance or replacement on my damaged panels. My solar panels where the only ones that flew off my roof in the entire neighborhood which means very possible shoddy installation as well, i have no idea how this passed code!!! They straight up lied to me and my spouse about replacing my panels incase of a major hurricane. When the salesmen was in our home he essentially guaranteed that we would be covered incase of a hurricane! Now I'm paying a crazy solar bill and i also pay for electric bill so these clowns could make their sales and line their pockets!!!!!!! TERRIBLE COMPANY WITH TERRIBLE ETHICS! Absolutely would never recommend these charlatans. Pictures of the devastation coming soon!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: 10/23/2024 post hurricane milton another 2 panels went flying off and the system has completely stopped operating. This is what is in store for you if you work with suntec.

I had solar put on my house. The sales guy was Adam Davis and then in the office. I worked a lot with a gentleman name Marcus. Also worked with a few others the big bosses I had an excellent experience with this company. They did a great job on my.. Florida power came out and changed my meter yesterday so my solar can start working and doing what it’s supposed to do. Save me money. I give them five stars and above.

I had Sun-Tech Solar and Roofing installed their solar system and to get them service my system, they kept lying to me. It has been months now. When I called their office, I was told they would come and they never show up. Their front desk told me that they can't have me to talk to their supervisor because they are in meetings and they don't know when they will be available. As of right now my solar system is not reporting since June 2024 and I am still paying for the system plus electricity bill. Noone calls me back and when I call, they keep telling me the same thing. I don't know if they are out of business or not. I was able to talk to one of the people in the higher-ups, and I was to get some answers as of why I wasn't able to get help. They were dealing with short staff and that created delays on their services. It didn't take long after I talked to the higher-ups, I was able to get my solar system up running.

This place deserves 0 stars. We had our roof redone in May, a completely new roof. It has leaked since then and it’s now 4 months later. I’ve tried and tried to get them to come fix it but now they won’t even respond. My ceiling is starting to fall in. Oh! And my solar panels are still sitting in my backyard even though they guaranteed they’d be back up in a week. 4 months of trying to get them to fix their mistakes. Guess we have to go the legal route which sucks.

Here is what you get with this company!!! Installed a system on my building without a permit and had to move it to my house. The botched the install and had to come back and remove it again from my house and reinstall properly. In doing so this is how they "fixed" their error. Roof is now leaking which it hasn't ever leaked in the 4 years we lived there. Frank will come up with any and every excuse why nothing is ever their fault. He blames the roof , they are a roofing company??? Why would you put a solar system on a roof that has issues.... because it was fine !!!! They have been given every opportunity to make this right and choose not to. Buyer beware. And FYI solar is 100% worth having...Just don't use this company.

Horrible management of this company. Had my panels removed for a new roof. Was expecting panels to be reinstalled immediately after inspection was complete. Nope, parts on back order. Poor planning by this company. Ask your self would you go get 4 new tires without replacement tires available?" Probably not. Should have been told that parts weren't going to be available. I would have delayed roof replacement. Instead, I am paying for a system that doesn't work in the prime sun season.

Obviously, I am not the only one who has been screwed by this company. Fire management and hire someone competent.

So far so good. We had 2 meeting with Marc Szakaly. Signed up last Friday and waiting for the next steps.
