“AC System installed over 27 years ago and still running strong! Would highly recommend.” — BestCompany Reviewer
“4 years ago my HVAC system failed and the coil was leaking Freon. I called my local HVAC guy and discovered that I had two alternatives pay for a new coil, which was quite expensive or replace the entire unit. I decided to replace the entire unit with a Ruud system, comprising the outside compressor and the attic heating / cooling system.
When the system was turned back on I was surprised at the flow of cool air that the Ruud [system] provided. It was considerably more capable of circulating air than the unit it replaced. The unit is very well built, with side panels providing easy access making servicing easy. The system runs quietly and since installation I have not had any reliability issues, so would be more than happy to replace the second system with a Ruud should that unit also fail. In fact, I would go one step beyond that and state that my next unit will be a Ruud.
Thanks for a worry free HVAC experience!” — BestCompany Reviewer

Meanwhile, Goodman is known for affordability, but Ruud typically edges it out in build quality and warranty coverage.
