Modernize Pros Referral Program FAQ

Q: What is the Modernize.com/pros referral program? 

It’s our way of saying thank you for helping us grow our network of home improvement pros! When you refer a qualified contractor to Modernize.com/pros, you both earn rewards when they engage with our platform. 

Q: How do I get set up to refer someone? 

Speak with you account manager if you are already a modernize customer, or email [email protected] if you are a vendor partner and would like to work with us.

Q: What do I earn when I refer someone? 

As the referrer, you can earn up to $350 per referral:
– $100 when your referral submits a valid lead form.
– An additional $250 when your referral signs up to receive leads from Modernize. 

Q: What does my referral get? 

Your referral will receive a $50 bonus after submitting a valid lead form. It’s a win-win! 

Q: Who can I refer? 

You can refer any professional contractor who is eligible to do business in their state. This includes general contractors, remodelers, and professionals in the following home improvement trades:

– Bathrooms

– Flooring (excluding Epoxy Flooring)

– Gutters

Q: What does my referral need to do for us to earn bonuses? 

Your referral must:
1. Be a new customer to Modernize.com/pros.
2. Submit a valid lead form.
3. (To unlock the $250 bonus) Sign up to receive leads from Modernize. 

Q: How and when do I get paid? 

Bonuses are processed and paid out within 4–6 weeks of your referral meeting the qualification criteria. Rewards are issued via your chosen payment method (e.g., gift card, direct deposit). 

Q: Can I refer more than one contractor? 

Yes! There is no limit to how many qualified contractors you can refer. You’ll receive rewards for each one who meets the criteria. 

Q: Can I refer myself or someone in my own company? 

No. Self-referrals or referrals from within your own business are not eligible. We’re looking to connect with new and independent home improvement professionals.
